After that awesome thumping of UCLA, how excited are you to see what this young Texas team can do next?!?

Join us again this Saturday at 6 PM at Cooter Brown's Tavern for this week's game-watch! Come see our Texas Longhorns open Big 12 play against the Iowa State Cyclones!

You know the drill by now... We'll have a huge HDTV, all the Shiner you can handle (responsibly, of course), the Texas Fight song, giveaways, and extra Longhorn spirit saved up from the bye week.

A friendly reminder - The Texas Exes will be gathered at the bar in the far back, right corner. We encourage you to join the group there, so we can all watch the game together. It's always more fun that way!

Thanks for the great turn-out last week for the BYU game! Texas got off to another slow start, but it certainly made for an exciting finish.

Let's keep the momentum rolling this week! Join us at Cooter Brown's Tavern at 2:30pm for our next game-watch. Texas looks for payback as they take on the UCLA Bruins at the Rose Bowl.

We'll have the same setup as last week with a 70-inch TV, plus more give-aways, more Shiner, and even more Longhorn spirit!

(We apologize for the issues with the TV sound last week. We talked to the owner today, and he assured us that it will be fixed by Saturday.)

1st Game-watch of the Season - Sept. 10

Our Longhorns got the season off to a solid start against Rice last Saturday. Applewhite and Harsin have certainly added many new and exciting twists to the offense, and the defense looks like it hasn't skipped a beat under Manny Diaz. Check out the highlights.

Join us this Saturday, Sept. 10 at 6pm for our first game-watch party of the season as Texas takes on BYU!!

We'll be at Cooter Brown's Tavern (map), at the bar all the way in the back. Look for the Texas Exes banner and tons of people wearing burnt orange.

We'll have the game on a 70-inch TV, Shiner specials, Texas music, games, giveaways, and lots of Longhorn spirit. Bring your friends!
